The Brewing Stack is a late-game brewing station that extracts every useful bit of an ingredient.

Crafting

A Brewing Stack is crafted from three Cobblestone, an End Rod, and a Shulker Shell.

Usage

The Brewing Stack holds up to four ingredients in a queue and uses Popped Chorus Fruit as fuel, consuming one per brew. When a brew is finished, all the ingredients are moved forward in the queue.

The Stack brews into a single Flagon instead of bottles. Thus, it can create up to nine doses per ingredient, making it thrice as efficient as the Brewing Stand. However, the Stack cannot brew splash or lingering potions.

The Brewing Stack has a Recipe Book in its interface for helping the user remember which ingredients make which potions and what other recipes the Stack can be used for.

Twice-Refined Potions

With the Brewing Stack, potions can be improved beyond what was possbile before.

• Brewing a Torchflower into a level II potion can raise it to level III, halving the duration again.
• Brewing a Pitcher Plant into a level I potion that has already been extended can extend its duration again, doubling it once more.
• Either brewing a Torchflower into an extended level I potion or brewing a Pitcher Plant into a level II potion will create an extended level II potion. In this case, the duration is 1.5x the base duration instead of the expected 1x, so the player is incentivized to balance for both length and strength if possible.
