Install Guide

Buff’s Potions is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft Java Edition 26.2. It will not load on Fabric or Forge. The mod is available on CurseForge if you would rather have CurseForge handle installation.

Step 1: Install NeoForge

Download the NeoForge installer for Minecraft 26.2 from NeoForge. Be sure to select Minecraft 26.2. Open the jar file with Java 25, and choose Install client (on Mac, opening the file might require allowing it from the Privacy and Security system settings).

You should now have a new NeoForge profile in your Minecraft launcher. Open and play that profile once to generate the required folders. In the mod settings, click “Open Mod Folder”. This will open a window to the folder where you should put the mod.

Step 2: Install the Mod

Download the Buff’s Potions mod file from CurseForge. Put the jar in the mods folder of the NeoForge 26.2 instance (as opened earlier). Launch the NeoForge profile and open the mods menu to look for Buff’s Potions.

Play on!

For Servers

If you want to host a server with Buff’s Potions, ensure the server is also running NeoForge and has the mod jar installed.
