Instant Confusion

Instant Confusion is an instant potion effect that randomizes a player’s enchantment seed and look direction.

Brewing

A Potion of Confounding can be brewed from a Potion of Acuity using a Fermented Spider Eye.

Effects

Instant Confusion randomizes an affected player’s look direction. This can be disorienting in PvP, and Splash Potions of Confounding are thrown by Witches under certain conditions.

Furthermore, Instant Confusion randomizes an affected player’s enchantment seed. A player’s enchantment seed is what determined what enchantments they will recieve on their next enchanted item, and is normally only changed when enchanting something. Using Instant Confusion, then, a player can cycle their available enchantments without using any levels of experience.
