Instant <Block>

Instant <Block> is an instant essence effect that places a block.

Brewing

A Potion of <Block> Formation can be brewed from the essence of a block using Scaffolding. They can be turned into Splash Potions, but not Lingering Potions or Tipped Arrows.

Effects

Drinking a Potion of <Block> Formation from a Bottle or Flagon in hand will place its block at the player’s feet. If the player is standing in air and the space below them is air, water, or lava, the block is placed there instead. Drinking it from a Flagon placed in the world will place the block on top of the Flagon. Throwing a Splash Potion of <Block> Formation will place the block in the nearest air, water, or lava within one block of where the potion lands.

The block placed by the potion depends on the essence used to brew it. Any block can be formed. The potion can only replace air, water, or lava; if the chosen space is anything else, nothing is placed, wasting the potion.
