Protraction
Protraction is an enchantment that lengthens the duration of potion effects drank from a belt. It is exclusive with Amplification.
Effects
Potion Duration
When a dose of a potion is drank from a belt with Protraction, its duration is increased.
| Level | Duration Increase |
|---|---|
| I | +33% |
| II | +66% |
| III | +100% |
For example, an effect with a duration of three minutes would last five minutes if drank from a belt with Protraction II. Protraction has no effect on instant potion effects.
While wearing a belt with Protraction, the duration boost is also applied to any potions drank from hand or from a Flagon placed in the world.
Honey Saturation
At levels I, II, and III, the saturation restoed by drinking a Honey Bottle is 4, 6, and 8 times the normal value. Note that the actual hunger value is still fixed at three bars. Thus, at Protraction III, drinking a dose of honey is equivalent to eating a Cooked Salmon.
