Usage
The Potion Belt can be equipped in the new belt slot in the player inventory. It is accessed with the Use Belt key (bound to Sneak by default).
Tool Swapping
If any belt is worn in the belt slot, left clicking a block with the incorrect tool for mining it will swap the current tool for the correct one if it is anywhere in the player’s inventory.
Holding Potions
The Potion Belt can hold up to nine bottles of any kind, including milk, honey, and splash and lingering potions.
In the inventory, the Potion Belt can be filled and emptied just like a bundle. When emptying, empty glass bottles are prioritized and all removed at once. Otherwise, items are placed in and removed from the rightmost available slot.
The Potion Belt also has an inventory screen that shows the nine bottle slots. This can be opened by right-clicking its item icon in any inventory screen, or right-clicking while the belt is held in hand, if the active slot is not drinkable.
When the potion belt has at least one bottle, its item icon shows a single bottle hanging on the left hook. If it has at least five, there is also one on the right. The number of bottles in the belt is shown in its tooltip.
Drinking Potions
If a Potion Belt is equipped in the belt slot, holding the Use Belt key will show a hotbar of the nine bottles in the belt. 1-9 will select in this hotbar; scrolling will cycle through the drinkable slots. Double tapping 1-9 will change the actual hotbar too. The Potion Belt icon will change to show the currently active bottle. Holding right-click will drink the active bottle.
A Potion Belt held in hand will act the same way, and takes precedence over an equipped one.
Drinking a bottle from a Potion Belt consumes one durability from the belt, starts a one second belt cooldown, and automatically selects the next drinkable slot. If the potion belt breaks after drinking a potion, the contained bottles are dropped to the ground.
